FUN KID ACTIVITIES IN SANTA ROSA BEACH AND 30A

I’ve always wanted to provide my kids with the kind of memories a happy childhood is made of.   It warms my heart to no end seeing their eyes light up and the wide toothy grins that take up half their little faces when we come to Casa Belleview.  Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Seaside, Watercolor, Inlet, Rosemary Beach

Duckies Shop of Fun – This shop has the cutest toys and gifts.  The store décor and layout is adorable and I should warn you… You might have a tough time getting the kids to leave the store empty handed.  For my kids, there’s so much to see and touch, because touch they will.  (Despite warnings from me.)  Definitely worth a visit at least once.

Biking on 30A bike path – You’ll notice that I mention biking a lot in this blog.  It’s a major way of life down here.  Traffic caused by cars can be thick during the peak summer months.  Sometimes a bike will get you there faster.  Other times, a leisurely ride with the kids is a perfect way to spend the day when you don’t feel like going to the beach.

 Pecan Jacks – I can’t post about fun kid activities on 30A without mentioning ice cream.  They’re some pretty good ice cream, frozen ice and gelato spots to choose from.  None of have captured my heart like Pecan Jacks.  The decor won me over (again).  I highly recommend you treat your kids.  It’s worth a visit just to take in the sights and the drool-worthy smells that greet you at the door.  Located one block from Casa Belleview, this spot is a mainstay for our family.   Beautifully branded and decorated, the store is stacked with awesome sweetness.  Besides ice cream, they feature all sorts of candy displayed in cases and jars that surround customers to stimulate all the senses.   It’s a lot to take in for kids who’ll think they died and went to heaven.   Take your pick of some imaginative ice cream flavors that will not disappoint.
